How to play Sungka
Sow seeds pit by pit around the board — land your last seed in your own store for a bonus turn, or in an empty pit on your side to capture everything opposite it.
The board looks calm right up until one well-timed sow chains a bonus turn into a capture, swinging a dozen seeds into your store in a single move.
- Tap one of your own pits to sow all its seeds counter-clockwise, one per slot
- Your own store collects a seed as you pass it; the opponent's store never does
💡 Landing your last seed in your own store earns you another turn immediately — chain these when you can.
💡 Landing your last seed in an empty pit on your own row captures it plus everything in the opposite pit, so watch for pits about to go empty on your side.
