About Blackjack
Blackjack, also called 21 or twenty-one, is the most widely played casino card game in the world. You are not playing against the other people at the table. Each player has a separate hand against the dealer, and the closest total to 21 without going over wins.
The table here follows a clear, player-friendly rule set. The dealer stands on every 17, including a soft 17. A two-card 21 is a natural blackjack and pays 3 to 2. You may double down on your first two cards only, taking exactly one more card. The dealer does not peek for blackjack, so you always play your hand out. Splitting, insurance and surrender are not included, which keeps the decisions to hit, stand or double. Bets run from 5 to 50 chips per hand and a fresh 52-card deck is shuffled for every hand.
Because the match is six hands long and ranked by chips, it adds a small competitive layer that a normal blackjack trainer lacks. You win the table by finishing with more than your friends. All chips are play chips with no cash value, so it is a safe way to practise basic strategy or learn the game before sitting at a real table.
How to play Blackjack
- The goal of each hand is to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. The goal of the match is to hold the most chips after six hands.
- Everyone starts with 200 play chips. Before each deal, choose a bet between 5 and 50 chips and confirm it.
- Number cards count at face value, jacks, queens and kings count 10, and an ace counts 11 or 1, whichever helps your hand.
- You and the dealer each get two cards. One dealer card stays face down until every player has finished.
- On your turn, Hit to take a card or Stand to keep your total. Going over 21 is a bust and loses the bet at once.
- Double is available on your first two cards: your bet is doubled, you receive exactly one card, and your turn ends.
- The dealer then reveals the hidden card and draws until reaching 17 or more. A higher total than the dealer pays even money, a tie returns your bet, and a two-card 21 pays 3 to 2.
- After six hands the player with the most chips wins the table.

Blackjack tips and strategy
- Stand on 12 to 16 when the dealer shows 2 to 6. The dealer must keep drawing to 17 and busts often from those cards, so let the dealer take the risk.
- Hit 12 to 16 when the dealer shows 7 or higher. Standing on a weak total against a strong up card loses more often than drawing does.
- Double on 11 against almost any dealer card, and on 10 when the dealer shows 9 or lower. These are the spots where one extra card is most likely to make a strong hand.
- Always stand on a hard 17 or more, and never stand on a soft 17 or less, since an ace counted as 11 cannot bust with one more card.
- Manage the six hand match. With a maximum bet of 50, a player who is behind after four hands needs big bets or doubles to catch up, while a leader can drop to the minimum.
Blackjack FAQ
Does the dealer hit on soft 17?
No. In this game the dealer stands on all 17s, including a soft 17 made with an ace counted as 11. That rule is slightly better for players than tables where the dealer hits soft 17.
Can I split pairs or take insurance?
No. This version offers hit, stand and double only. Splitting, insurance and surrender are left out on purpose, so two eights or two aces are simply played as a normal hand of 16 or 12.
How much does a blackjack pay?
A natural blackjack, an ace with a ten-value card on your first two cards, pays 3 to 2, so a 20 chip bet wins 30. If the dealer also has a natural, the hand is a tie and your bet is returned.
Is this blackjack game played for real money?
No. It uses play chips only, purely for fun. Nothing can be deposited, won or cashed out, and every new match resets all players to the same 200 chip stack.
How many players can sit at the table, and can I play alone?
One to five players can sit down. Solo play against the dealer is supported, and at public tables bots fill open seats. Each player has 25 seconds to act on a turn.
What happens if I run low on chips?
If you cannot cover the 5 chip minimum bet you sit out the remaining hands, and the chips you have left still count for your final position. You also cannot double unless you can afford to match your bet.
