About Turret Siege

Most games here set players against each other. Turret Siege is one of the few where everyone is on the same side, which makes it a good choice when you want something to play with friends without anybody ending up as the loser. It combines the escalating waves of a tower defence game with direct control of a tank, so you are the tower.

The core sits in the middle of an open arena and your tanks start in a ring around it. Enemies appear at the edges and advance inwards. Grunts are the standard attacker, scouts are quick and fragile, heavies are slow and take a lot of punishment, and the tenth wave ends with a single boss. When an enemy gets within range it stops and fires at whichever is nearer, a player's tank or the core. That detail drives the tactics: a tank that drives out to meet a group draws fire away from the core, at the cost of its own health.

Your tank has 100 health and returns a couple of seconds after being destroyed, so only the loss of the core ends the game. Clearing a wave repairs the core and all surviving tanks a little before the next one arrives. A full run takes about seven minutes and is rated hard, particularly solo.

How to play Turret Siege

  1. Work together to keep the core alive through all ten waves. If its health reaches zero, the whole team loses.
  2. Drive with WASD, aim with the mouse and click to fire. Shells fly straight and do not bounce.
  3. The game opens with a short preparation period, and there is a breather of several seconds between waves.
  4. Enemy tanks spawn around the edge of the arena and move towards the centre. Each one stops at firing range and shoots at the closest target, either a player or the core.
  5. Waves grow in size and add tougher units: scouts from wave two, heavies from wave three and a boss at the end of wave ten.
  6. If your tank is destroyed you respawn after about two seconds with full health.
  7. Finishing a wave restores a small amount of health to the core and to every tank still alive.
  8. Survive the tenth wave and the team wins, with the player who scored the most kills named top of the board.

Turret Siege tips and strategy

  • Spread out so each player covers a different side of the core. Enemies arrive from every edge, and four tanks in one spot leave three directions open.
  • Shoot scouts first. They reach firing range before anything else and shoot quickly, but they go down fast.
  • Meet heavies well away from the core. They are slow, so every second they spend rolling towards you is a second they are not hitting the core.
  • Use your own tank as bait when the core is low. Enemies target whatever is closest, your tank respawns and the core does not.
  • On the final wave, clear the smaller units before concentrating on the boss, then have every player fire on it from different angles so it can only shoot back at one of you.

Turret Siege FAQ

Is Turret Siege co-op or versus?

It is fully co-operative. All players defend the same core and share the result, win or lose. Kills are counted for each player, but only to decide who tops the scoreboard after a successful defence.

Can I play Turret Siege alone?

Yes. It supports one to four players, so a solo run is possible. It is considerably harder alone because you cannot cover every side at once, which makes target priority and constant movement essential.

How many waves are there?

Ten. Early waves are a handful of basic tanks, the middle waves mix in fast scouts and armoured heavies, and the tenth is a large mixed assault followed by one boss with far more health than anything else.

What happens when my tank is destroyed?

You are out of action for roughly two seconds and then return at full health. There is no limit on respawns, but every moment you are missing is time the enemies spend firing at the core instead.

How is it different from Tank Battle?

Tank Battle is a free-for-all in a maze with bouncing shells and one-hit kills. Turret Siege is a team game in an open arena, with health bars, straight-flying shells and computer-controlled enemy waves in place of rival players.

How many players do I need for Turret Siege?

Turret Siege supports 1 to 4 players. If a full table of real people isn't ready when you queue, MultiplayerHub fills the empty seats with bots instantly so the match starts without waiting.

Do I need to download anything or sign up to play Turret Siege?

No. Turret Siege runs entirely in your browser tab โ€” no app install, no account, no email required. Pick a name and you're matched within seconds.

Is Turret Siege really free?

Yes โ€” Turret Siege and every other game on MultiplayerHub is free to play, supported by ads rather than a paywall or loot boxes.

Can I play Turret Siege with a specific friend instead of strangers?

Create a private room from the Turret Siege page to get a shareable room code, or enter a code a friend already sent you to jump straight into their table.
