About Bubble Pop
The bubble shooter is one of the most recognisable casual puzzle formats, popularised by arcade games of the 1990s such as Puzzle Bobble. A grid of bubbles hangs from the ceiling, you fire one bubble at a time from the bottom of the screen, and any group of three or more touching bubbles of the same colour bursts.
Bubble Pop keeps those rules and adds a race. Every player has a private field eight bubbles wide with six colours in play, and all boards are generated from the same sequence so nobody gets an easier layout. Shots bounce off the side walls, and a dotted guide line shows where your bubble is heading. After every eight shots the ceiling drops one row, so careless firing pushes the bubbles toward your launcher.
Scoring rewards planning. A popped bubble is worth 10 points, with extra for groups larger than three, but a bubble that falls because you cut it off from the ceiling is worth 18. How to play Bubble Pop
- The objective is to score more points than the other players before the two minute round ends.
- Move the mouse or drag on a touch screen to aim, then click, tap or press Space to fire the current bubble.
- A fired bubble travels in a straight line, bounces off the side walls and sticks where it touches the cluster or the ceiling.
- If it lands in a group of three or more bubbles of the same colour, the whole connected group pops.
- Any bubbles left with no connection to the ceiling after a pop fall away and score a larger bonus each.
- After every eight shots the ceiling moves down one row. If the bubbles reach the bottom line you top out and your run ends with the score you have.
- Clearing every bubble earns a 260 point bonus and a new board. When the timer runs out, the highest score wins.

Bubble Pop tips and strategy
- Shoot high, not low. Popping a small group near the ceiling can drop everything hanging beneath it, and falling bubbles pay almost double the points of popped ones.
- Use the walls. A bank shot can reach a gap behind a front row that a direct shot cannot, and the guide line shows the bounce before you commit.
- Count your shots. The ceiling drops on every eighth shot, so a wasted bubble that pops nothing still brings the danger line closer.
- When a colour cannot make a match, park it on the side of the board next to the same colour so it sets up a later pop instead of blocking a lane.
- Push for a full clear when only a few bubbles remain. The 260 point bonus is worth more than 20 ordinary pops.

Three or more touching bubbles of the same colour, counting the one you just fired. Landing next to a single matching bubble does nothing, so look for pairs already on the board to shoot at.

Your run does not end. You receive a 260 point clear bonus and the field refills with a new, slightly denser layout, so you can keep scoring until the timer runs out.
How is multiplayer bubble shooter scored?
